INUK Is Back in the U.S.

INUK began in Canada, where city streets and open country often sit close together. Our Canadian roots shaped a practical design point of view: carry what matters, prepare for changing conditions, and make a bag useful across more than one part of the day.

Over time, INUK traveled beyond Canada. Our bags became part of everyday life in communities across mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, and other parts of Asia. People carried them to work and school, onto trains and bicycles, through airports, and into the outdoors.

The team behind the bags also grew across places. INUK’s headquarters, product development, engineering, and operations are based in Richmond, British Columbia. Our design perspective includes outdoor and fashion experience in Paradise, California. Manufacturing takes place in our facility in Suzhou, China, where teams can follow materials and construction from fabric to finished bag. Read more in the INUK brand story.

This history is why coming back to the U.S. feels familiar. INUK has always lived between places, learning from the routes our bags travel and the people who carry them.

Common Nature is INUK’s belief that nature belongs to everyday life. It includes the mountain and the forest, but also the weather on a morning commute, the tree outside an apartment, and the quiet edge of a city. It is the shared ground connecting workdays, weekends, and the journeys between them.

This idea changes how we think about a bag. A useful bag should not force you to choose between an urban identity and an outdoor one. It should organize what you need, feel comfortable through a long day, and adapt when the plan changes.

That is the heart of INUK’s role as a nature connector. We make objects that move with people between pavement and trail, routine and possibility. The bag is practical; the connection it supports is personal.
